Helmut Lang: The Artist Series Seen by Paul Mpagi Sepuya

Paul Mpagi Sepuya is the eighth artist in the HELMUT LANG: THE ARTIST SERIES, focusing on a series of self-portraits in his bedroom in 2006. Working instinctively and prolifically with the tools and environment around him, one of Sepuya’s signatures is the use of the bedroom as a studio – but he admits that probably first came about from him just trying to be a good roommate. Limited edition Paul Mpagi Sepuya t-shirts and posters are available at Helmut Lang stores and www.helmutlang.com. 15% of the proceeds will go to Paul’s chosen charity The Robert Giard Foundation.  Available here.
