Kith Partners with Maya Angelou High School to Design New Logo

KITH partnered with Branded Arts, a platform to raise awareness and contribute to under-funded school art programs, to support Maya Angelou High School in South Central Los Angeles.

KITH designed the school’s new logo, a phoenix which speaks to Dr. Angelou’s powerful poems, and also features “MAYA” subtly spelled out in the wings. The logo will be painted on the school’s basketball court, as well as other locations.

In addition to the logo, KITH designed a capsule collection, including one short-sleeved t-shirt, two long-sleeved t-shirts, and one hoodie, all of which feature Dr. Angelou on the front with a small KITH logo, as well as a quote of Angelou’s on the back. One of the long-sleeved t-shirts was made exclusively for the students at Maya Angelou High School, which KITH donated to the 1500 students.
