Melissa Alma & Origem Collection

In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Melissa has released a limited-edition collection including the Alma and Origem models. Paying homage to early traditions, the range consists of net flats and shoulder bags inspired by large plastic nets once manufactured by the company to safeguard wines bottles post production. The practice – still used by artisanal wineries in Brazil – changed the trajectory of Melissa and inspired the company to explore 40 years of footwear and accessories.

Constructed from PVC a material that’s easily disassembled and recycled, the Alma round-toe cozy flat comes in four colorways while the medium-sized Origem purse is completed with a “Desde 1979 Melissa” stamp.
