Kenzo Presents La Collection Memento Nº 4

For the fourth edition of this collection dedicated to revisiting the house’s archives, KENZO chose to offer fans and customers the option to buy pieces the day after the collection’s presentation during Paris Fashion Week. As with each KENZO – La Collection Memento, Humberto and Carol selected to reinvigorate a different element from the archives of the time of our house’s founder Kenzo Takada. For the collection they decided to put the spotlight on some of the house’s most vivid and diverse prints and graphics celebrating Kenzo Takada’s fun and whimsical side.

To present the collection, KENZO and directors Partel Oliva invited movement director and choreographer Paul Sadot and choreographer Nqobilé Danseur to work on a joint creation at the crossroads of several traditions. This meeting took place on a unique experiential stage where boundaries between audience and performers collapsed in a new way on moving platforms.
