Nike Hosts WNBA Draft

The 2019 WNBA Draft was held at Nike’s New York headquarters on April 10, 2019, continuing Nike’s commitment to women’s basketball and championing female athletes. 

The moment marked the beginning of a new season and kickstarted Nike’s initiative towards raising global awareness of the women’s game. Nike’s goal to strengthen their partnerships include providing all WNBA teams with pinnacle performance gear for the 2019 season, providing mentorships to middle schools in select WNBA and NBA communities, and supporting the career transitions of former WNBA players into sport-based professions.
